Join us for an alumni reception honoring Florence Hale Stephenson as part of SF State’s celebration of the annual National Girls and Women in Sports Day. The reception, which will be followed by free admission to the SF State Women’s Basketball game, will recognize Florence Hale Stevenson’s historic legacy of gender equity in physical education and the scholarship that was created in her memory.

This year, we are excited to include the next generation of female college athletes. Gator Athletics and SF State’s Kinesiology Department invited middle school girls to attend the basketball game where they'll meet current female players and be recognized for their participation.
