Visit Historic Donner Pass with local SFSU Alumni!

Visit Historic Donner Pass to see the prehistoric Petroglyphs, a train tunnel from the Trans-Continental railroad, and a bridge from the Lincoln Highway. The Petroglyphs were created by the “Old Ones”, perhaps 10,000 years ago. The Tunnel was built by workers from Guangdong, China in 1867. The Rainbow Bridge was built in the 1920s. The walk to the petroglyphs isn’t difficult, but to the tunnel is a hike.

Informative pamphlets and knowledgeable alumni will answer questions and provide more information at the Petroglyphs, our home base.

At noon we will travel to The Pub at Donner Lake. Lunch is sponsored by the SFSU Alumni Association!
